Trainee Program
What is our Trainee Program?
Our Trainee Program will guide you through two weeks of immersion in our Permaculture Center. Guided by our team of locals and a facilitator, you will learn the basics of Amazonian traditional knowledge for sustainable living.
This program has no requirements and most of the activities will be guided and translated into English. After the training, you will be able to apply to be part of our volunteer team, which will allow you to develop and put your own professional experience into practice.
What will you learn?
In these two weeks you will learn about:
- Cultivation of edible and medicinal plants.
- At least one natural building technique.
- Harvesting and processing organic products.
Plus, additional activities subject to season (for example: ayahuasca harvest, )
Who is it for?
People with little or no knowledge who want to have a first-hand experience of life in the Amazon Rainforest.
Cost
Cost for the duration of the program: $380 (10 days, all inclusive).

Volunteer Program
What is our Volunteer Program?
Our Volunteer Program will allow you to have the experience of living in the Amazon and, at the same time, put into practice your knowledge and skills to contribute to projects in our Permaculture Center and in the 4 local communities we work with.
Who is it for?
This program is focused for people who are physically fit and have professional experience in the fields of: biology, agroforestry, electricity, construction, carpentry, development of applications in notion, photography, filmmaking, or renewable energy.
We accept volunteers for a period of a minimum of 28 days up to 3 months. Afterwards, you can apply to become a resident, which will allow you to take on a leadership role of a medium- or long-term project.
Finally, it is very important to have a level of Spanish that allows you to work hand in hand with our team without the need of a translator.
Cost
The cost for the duration of the program is $190 (28 days, all inclusive).
